The First Clue…
Case File #001: The Tarot Transmission
Location: Bodleian Library, Ashmole Collection, Vault B7
Tansy’s Notes:
Handwritten booklet discovered with a tarot deck featuring painterly images. The cards are dog-eared—possibly an early edition. The curling label reads: Prisma Visions Tarot.
Weirdly, the ink appears to be damp. Might be a trick of the light, but the background colors of the card look different than they did ten minutes ago. Could be residual astral echoes—keep digging.
As best I can tell, the following excerpt refers to the Ten of Chalices. It describes a method for sensing the energy flow of a card and translating it into guidance. Pretty nifty.

Excerpt:
Here, the energy has a different feel than the previous card, more heavy and prone to gathering downward. The trinkets dangling from the tree feel like tangly obstacles to the energy’s flow, and I sense it getting caught in the web as it tries to move through the card.
If we apply this to a reading, we might say that in the previous card the querent was happily devoting themselves to a project; the energy was flowing organically, allowing the project to blossom and gain momentum.
When the energy hits the Ten of Chalices reversed, however, they become a bit obsessive with insignificant details. Perhaps they plan to post a video for their product launch, but they’re hung up on how to arrange their office to create the best backdrop, whether they should go with YouTube or Vimeo, which font to use for the titles…and on and on it goes.
Limiting the time they spend on inconsequential decisions, perhaps even flipping a coin and moving on, will help them refocus on the reason why they’re doing this project in the first place over getting bogged down in perfectionistic details.
